The Absurd Theatre
The Absurd Theatre is a fictitious institution based on the principles of absurdist theatre practice and writing. Using Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus" as a starting point, the identity seeks to embody the existential qualities of the essay in that it questions the validity of our seemingly meaningless journey through life.
The secondary graphic element derives from the repetition of language itself as a reflection of this pointless journey, where one has no reference of beginnings or ends. The absurdist methodologies and writings are represented through the repetition of the language, which transforms after every line break, oscillating between quasi-legible oddities and fully-realized sentences.
